Some 1830A users have asked if there is an easy way to log readings for a period of time so that they can evaluate the short-term drift of a sensor attached to an 1830A. This can be accomplished using the documented programming interface and IVI COM drivers, however that requires a little programming. For those who do not wish to program, we have deicded to share our internal tool, "Iguana Manager" ("Iguana" is the name of the project that produced the 1830A and new sensor architecture).

Iguana Manager is an unsupported, free, noncommercial, and probably buggy, internal test and programming tool developed for the use of TEGAM R&D engineers. It is made available on a limited basis to certain customers with NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER.

TEGAM MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES THAT THIS PROGRAM IS USEFUL FOR ANY PURPOSE AT ALL, OR THAT IT WILL GIVE CORRECT OR INCORRACT RESULTS, OR FUNCTION ON ANY PARTICULAR COMPUTER OR OPERATING SYSTEM. TEGAM EXPLICITLY DENIES ANY LIABILITY OF ANY TYPE ARISING FROM A CUSTOMERS DECISION TO USE THIS SOFTWARE FOR ANY PURPOSE.

Tegam may or may not respond positively or promptly to any quality feedback regarding Iguana Manager. This software is not part of the model 1830A or other members of the "Iguana" line, and is not covered by the warranty issued for a product that was actually paid for.

Iguana Manager requires a properly installed and correctly working Microsoft .net framework 2.0 on the workstation it will be run on.

Installing Iguana Manager

Iguana Manager requires no installation. Just copy it to a convenient directory on your local hard drive and double-click the executable to start running it.

If Iguana manager seems to not work, check that .net 2.0 is installed by looking in "add/remove programs". If it is not installed, install it and try IM again.

Manuals

This is free software for engineering use and does not have a manual. The controls are "intuitive". TEGAM will try to respond to questions posted as replies to this topic in a timely manner, however, NO GUARANTEE!!!
