Hi Peter,

To calibrate an HP 478 with an 1830A as a monitor do the following:

1. Select 1830A for monitor 2 in flex standards (This would be the 1830A connected to 478A)
2. The 1830A connected to the F1130A would still be monitor 1
3. In the procedure the UUT monitor would be changed to 1830A with 200 ohm resistance

That should do it.

Hi,
Thank You for very quick answer. I had some doubts because "No compensation" mode was active when procedure has been running.
I thought "323 compatible" mode should be active. Procedure changed mode automatically to "no compenastion" when calibration has been started.

Peter,

It seems you have found a bug in SureCAL. I will work with the SureCAL team and get it resolved as soon as possibly.

Issue Resolved:
If you edit the test profile and select 1830A for the UUT monitor a Vcomp check box to the right of the 1830A check box becomes available.
If you check the box the 1830A will be placed in 432 comp mode during the calibration.
